Ms Saga Infanite Ecaps (l)

défiscalisant on the test bench

The economic daily "Les Echos" Friday published an interesting article on REITs Scellier with this teaser:

"Instead of investing directly in a rental, it is possible to take advantage of the tax system Scellier by subscribing shares of REITs. One way to tax exemption for 2011, its revenues in 2010. "

For the record, I explained the principle of REITs (and their allied interest to less fortunate or just interested in the management) in a series of posts that began here:

Now the test bed Echos of August 20, 2010:

As usual, I remind you that REITs are a tax exemption product "tunnel". One must keep their units until the dissolution of the REIT, following the sale of housing. He who would seek to separate them before the end would face a deep discount because the buyer does not receive the tax benefit. I also recall that the value of shares when the dissolution is not guaranteed: it depends on the real estate market of the moment.

Despite these precautions, this placement may be appropriate for those looking to invest in tax exemption, without investing € 150 000 and without putting their fate in the hands of a single tenant.
